As a reply to your reply (heh!)... haven´t thought about selling my photos, like never. I don´t think as high of them, I mean let´s face it, who would want to buy my stuff? Photography is a simple hobby for me, one I love dearly, but a hobby nontheless. I wish I had time and money to invest in classes and equipment, that would be great, but I have a big family who demands most of my time nowadays. But maybe copyright them would be a good idea... not that it serves much for stealers...
I feel, that if you wanted to pursue marketing you photos, there would definitely be those who would buy them. You have the eye and soul of a photographer
. I’m a teacher and have been fortunate to have and work with some very talented young people. Whether they pursue photography as a career or not .. The talent is still there . It’s an incredibly difficult business . Sometimes more so than the television biz I think and that I do know professionally . Try and see if there are shows or galleries you could present your work in. I bet you would get a very positive reaction Until then, enjoy your family and just keep on doing what your doing.
Ps thank you for the “follow”. You have no idea how that made my day!
Hi there! Thanks for the kind words =) As for what I use, usually my Canon EOS 400D, or the automatic killer Canon Powershot SX220HS. I´m trying analog now with my old Canon EOS 400, but I haven´t developed any roll yet... Im too lazy hehe!!! Oh, and I´m not a photographer, by any means. I struggle with the camera most of the time to shoot properly ;)
Well, if there is,indeed, a struggle… You are certainly winning. I shooting a Pentax Dslr but have a Mamiya 645 pro tl that I’ve gone back to using as well as a canon slr. I’m a teacher and am fortunate to have access to a full darkroom and scanners. Haven’t done much film work in years since I repped a Time /Life photog here in Chicago . He was my mentor before I left for LA and produced tv shows for many years. I guess working in television has made me a bit suspicious so I’m always afraid to just throwing favorite shots on line. Your work is indeed special and I commend you for your fearless posting of it. If I were you, I’d be trying to market it…it’s obvious from the notes you get that it’s very well-liked!
